Worry Free World association revealed to the general public through a press conference

The Worry Free World (WFW) association held a press conference this Saturday, July 20, 2024 to make itself known. Several academies and distinguished guests were present.

Created in 2021 by Daniel EDIHE (young Togolese coach trained at Paris Saint Germain, currently proving himself at "York College", a federal university in New York as an assistant coach and in charge of player recruitment & in charge of recreational programs and Head Coach at the FFF (French Football Federation) Academy NYC), the Worry Free World (WFW) association is a Togolese association committed to promoting balance between sport, health, education. Its mission is to fight against school dropout in favor of sport in general and football in particular and gender bias in sport by raising awareness and supporting young people so that they can continue their studies while developing their passion for their favorite sport.

After a few years of anonymity punctuated by a few activities such as the distribution of school and sports kits here and there, Worry Free World (which means a world without problems in French) officially revealed itself to the general public on July 20, 2024. A press conference was held on this occasion in the conference room of the restaurant "LE HANGAR" located in Cacavéli.

The colossal amounts received by professional athletes, especially footballers, make more than one dream, and this arouses in particular young athletes, a burning desire to succeed in this profession like their idols, and this by all means. Many of them do not hesitate to abandon everything, even studies, to be able to devote themselves to their favorite sport, to realize their dreams. The Worry Free World association (Sport - Education - Health) has set itself the goal of fighting against this scourge by raising awareness among young people and their parents on the importance of studies in the sports environment. That's not all. The WFW association also wants to raise awareness about the health benefits of sport and give some young people the opportunity to study at foreign universities, such as York College in New York. The association's targets are educators, socio-educational managers of training centers, supporters, parents, not forgetting the young people themselves through tutoring sessions, partnerships with sports teams and educational institutions, or mini-tournaments in schools and different places.

Several discussions filled this conference between the association's volunteers, representatives of football academies and guests present. We can mention training centers and teams such as Futures Stars Agoè, the Complexe Sports - Etudes Le R.O.MARIO, the Renaissance Sporting Club d'Agoè-Nyivé (RSCA) or the Western Stars Academy. The Women's Hawks Coach Kaï TOMETY was also there, as was the Secretary General of the Lomé-Golfe Regional Football League, Charles Da Ernesto.

This is an initiative to be welcomed and encouraged.
